The backing track is Nathan's from a few years ago. Intro guitar is Epi LP to DHP-33 to XT. I run the whammy first because, to my ears, whammy post-XT is utter crap! Main guitar is Epi LP straight to XT (no 12-string emu). Slide guitar is my Rickenbacker 320 (6 string) into DHP-33 for some octave (about 35% mix) into XT. I used a slightly modified patch for the slide solo (tons of compression and a little less overdrive). I really like the slide sound! The Rickenbacker has such a beautiful boxy, chimey sound. The vox are C1 into DMP3. Same with the backing vox. Both are compressed fairly heavily. BV's are panned just slightly left of centre. Kinda makes me feel like their coming from The Edge's side of the stage! There is a tiny bit of digital clipping on the main vox right before the second chorus. I wont tell you why (you'll have to listen), but I thought the slight clipping was worth it for the vocalsat that point! The guitar sounds VERY heavy, particularly at the very end (almost like a Marshall), but I swear its just Epi LP into XT with Vox and TS-808! Oh, and I used the stereo delay effect in the XT. You can hear the echos bouncing in the intro. Anyway, hope you like it. As always, comments are welcome and appreciated! Mike
