Guitar: Epi Explorer with mid 70's T-tops (middle pup position-both) Pod XT Pro for AC30 sim TC2290 for delay For the big open chords section I kicked on the EQ+Boost on the Pod for a little bit of grit. Dotted 1/8th note at 110bpm = 409ms I don't recall what feedback level... There is TINY little bit of 1/8th note delay from the pod, it's just barely audible, and only 1 repeat. TC2290 is in the Pod XT Pro fx loop by the way. ...and recorded direct into cubase SX of course. It's all about the right-hand technique and the delay time. Here's the main rhythm part chords: E-----------10----9----------- B--9---10---10---10----------- G--9----9----9----9----------- D--9---11--------------------- A----------------------------- E----------------------------- Ahhhhh......The tricky part is finding an easy way to finger this, but this is how I play it. You've gotta use your pinky for the D string. E--------------------------------- B----9----9-------10---10--------- G----9----8--------9----8--------- D---11---11-------11---11--------- A--------------------------------- E--------------------------------- /jason/ Trabant: Me too. I think the Edge plays it in these positions: ---7--7----10--9------ ---9--10---10--10----- ---9--9----9---9------ ---------------------- ---------------------- ---------------------- For the "Feel like Trash..." I think it's: -------------(12)-(12)-------- --12--12-----10--10--------- --9---8-------9---8--------- --9---9--------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------- The second chords are the passing chords, and the notes in parentheses might not be played, and muted instead.... I should have added to that last chord(s) - often I actually prefer to play it like this: ---------------------- ----10---10---------- ----9----8----------- ----7----7----------- ---------------------- ---------------------- But I guess the Edge doesn't do it that way.
